Jane Schofield is an artist who loves to experiment. She incorporates texture, vivid colours, metal leaf and spray effects into her work. She creates highly stylised original pieces of artwork, focusing on the trees of the ancient woodland and hedgerow of the Padley Gorge area and the great trees of Chatsworth House. As a regular visitor to the Peak District, her highly popular ‘Bright Fields’ series has been inspired by the stunning views looking down across the valleys and peaks from vantage points such as High Peak and Curbar Edge. Jane hopes you find her work bright and uplifting.
