Monsal Dale

Pete's pictures bring a new dimension to landscape photography, and have achieved a level of recognition, unusual for landscapes in today's international photographic arena, winning three gold medals at the prestigious London Salon of Photography.  They are all taken using infra-red film in weather conditions where mist and low light levels enhance the atmosphere.  Each finished image is the product of many hours work in the darkroom followed by extensive colour toning by hand, using specialist inks, bleaches and sepia. This makes many of them quite unrepeatable. 

His life long passion for walking in the Derbyshire hills, together with his visual image and darkroom experience, yield a rich and most satisfying artistic experience for both himself and the viewer.
All Pete's work is double mounted and presented in a soft gold frame.
