Landscapes in watercolourby Michael MooreFrom his interest in
developing the tradition of English landscape painting Mike produces
finely crafted watercolours depicting idyllic rural scenes.
He develops his paintings through watercolours to a final
painting in oil, occasionally taking inspiration from 19th century
engravings. Influenced by Turner he is keenly aware of the relationship
between light and water, giving each piece the feel of a warm summer day
in England. |
