Tony Laverick Tony was trained in ceramic Design at Preston Polytechnic where he was awarded a Distinction from the Society of Designer Craftsmen. Having spent a number of years working in the pottery industry in Stoke-on-Trent, notably two years as a shape designer for Wedgwood, he established his own studio in Leek, Staffordshire in 1988. His work appears in many private collections at home and abroad, as well as in many leading British galleries. The City of Stoke-on-Trent Museum has acquired a number of pieces for their permanent collection of contemporary ceramics.
